Seer Bakshanam — Traditional South Indian Wedding Sweets & Savouries

Chennai & Bangalore

Seer Bakshanam is one of the most cherished traditions of a South Indian wedding. The sweets and savouries prepared by the bride's family — offered to the groom's side, to the priests, and to every honoured guest — are not mere confections. They are an expression of care, abundance, and the family's pride in their traditions.

Every community has its own repertoire, its own quantities, its own exacting standards. At Haritham, we understand these distinctions intimately.

Our Seer Bakshanam includes

Therattu Paal · Palgova · Boondhi Ladoo · Adirasam · Mysorepak · Jangiri · Maa Ladoo · Rava Ladoo · Badusha · Coconut Burfi · Groundnut Burfi · Kai Murukku · Mullu Murukku · Kara Sev · Thenkuzhal · Mixture

For the Paruppu Thenga Koodu, we prepare

Boondhi Ladoo · Mysorepak · Manoharam · Verkadalai · Pottukadalai · Dry Fruit · Coconut Burfi · Mixed Toffees

Packaging

Each item is packed individually, then brought together in boxes, bags or decorated baskets — whichever your family prefers. A handwritten thank-you note accompanies every order. Sweets for thamboolam bags are handled with the same care. Everything is packed in cartons and delivered to your door, or to both families, as you instruct.
